Family, Purpose & the Power of Resilience
Life has always beckoned me to embrace its adventures with courage. From the thrill of boxing and horse riding to the adrenaline of competing in MotoGP, snowboarding and skydiving — I have consistently sought challenges that push the limits of possibility.
However, on March 25, 2022, everything changed in an instant. While skydiving at 12,500 feet, my parachute failed to deploy, leading to a crash landing on a highway. The aftermath was devastating — both my legs were shattered. Yet, against all odds, I miraculously survived.
"Fail early, fail often, but always fail forward."
The subsequent two years tested my resilience in unimaginable ways. Enduring eight surgeries and countless rehabilitation efforts, I faced a heart-wrenching decision. In July 2024, I chose to undergo amputation — not merely a loss, but a courageous and powerful act of reclaiming my life for myself, my family, and our shared future.
It was during my hospital stay in 2022, amidst the uncertainty of recovery, that I found clarity and purpose. I recognised that my primary responsibility was to ensure a secure future for my children regardless of the hurdles. This realization became the cornerstone of my mission in creating MAPSIGMA CAPITAL — our family office hedge fund built on the belief that Family Comes First.
